On this auspicious occasion, CIF Publications released the publication āAdi Sakti: Philosophy and Narratives of the Feminine Divineā, a compilation of the lecture series conducted at Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth. Vijayadashami is also the auspicious day of Vidyarambham or Aksharabhyasam, when toddlers are initiated into study. Swami Sharadanandaji initiated a few children by holding onto their index finger and drawing the alphabets, in Sanskrit as well as Malayalam and English, on a plate full of rice.
