Gita : Ch-5. Slo-10.

(Very important slokam) Srimad Bhagavad-Gita : Chapter-5 ( Karma-sanyasa-yogam ). Slokam-10. Brapmnyadhaya karmani samgam tyktva karoti yaha, Lipyate na sa papena padmapatramivambasa. yaha = who, karoti = acts, adhaya = by dedicating, by surrendering; karmani = (all ) actions, brahmani = to Brahmam, To God; with the idea, 'I am working for Him, as a servant does everything for his master', tyaktva = (and ) by renouncing, samgam = attachment, even with regard to, teh = resulting Liberation; sa = he, na lipyate = does not get polluted, is not affected; papena = by sin; iva = just as; padma-patram = a lotus leaf; is not affected by water. ( water drops never wet the leaf) He who dedicates all his works to the spiritual forsaking of his attachments is never affected by sin like a lotus leaf is in the water.
