Slogam - 5 : The Pandava Army Generals – Nos. 7-12
1 Drishtaketuh Chekitaanah = Drishtaketu, Chekitana,
2 Kaashi-raajah cha veeryavaan; = and the valiant king of Kashi,
3 Purujit Kuntibhojah cha = Purujit, Kuntibhoja and
4 Shaibyah cha nara pungavah. = Shaibya, the best of men

Slogam - 6 : The Pandava Army Generals – Nos. 13-20
1.Yudhaamanyuh cha vikraanta = strong Yudhamanyu
2 Uttamaujaah cha veeryavaan; = and the brave Uttamaujaa;
3 Saubhadrah Draupadeyaah cha = the son of Subhadra and the sons of Draupadi;
4 sarva eva mahaa-rathaah. = all of them, indeed, great chariot warriors.

Another six Pandava generals are named in v.5, and eight in v.6 – totalling 20.
Abhimanyu is Arjuna’s son from Subhadra, Sri Krishna’s sister. The five sons of
Draupadi were also Army-Generals in the Pandava camp. Each Pandava had a son from her;
their names are given in the table below :

All of these were Maha-Rathas, meaning “a general who controls an army consisting
