Chinmaya Mission  : The Summer Camp for Bala Vihar and Junior CHYK kids was held on April 20th and 21st, 2023, at the Chinmaya Mission in Melbourne. The event aimed to provide an exciting and educational experience for children to learn more about their culture and spirituality. During the camp, the Bala Vihar kids enjoyed listening to Lord Hanuman's stories and engaging in fun activities to develop the Hanuman spirit within them. Meanwhile, the Junior CHYK kids were given the opportunity to explore and understand their true selves. The second day of the camp included various activities, such as storytelling, discussions, Sanskrit learning, shloka chanting, bhajan singing, and craft-making with lively children. Where would an elephant hide in a small hut? All the  Pandavas and Draupadi herself were superhumans – how were they going to remain  incognito? One day the Pandavas were very thirsty. Nakula climbed a tree to spy some water.  He went there to drink. A voice from the sky told him to answer his questions before  drinking. Nakula ignored it and drank. He dropped dead. Though we may repeat these words again and again, and to some extent know their literal meanings, their practical suggestiveness is hard for the mind to grasp. The higher Self is not a spatially located, ascending series, but a more intensely inclusive and pervasive nature of our own self – something like the superiority of the waking consciousness over the dream consciousness.
