Translation of Slokam "

"Thus I have explained to you the most confidential of all knowledge. Deliberate on this fully, and then do what you wish to do."

Translation :

iti  =  thus

guhyat   guhyataram    jnanam  =   most  extremely  secret  ( confidential )  brahmavidya ( knowledge );

maya    te  akhyatam   =  is  decribed  unto  you  by  Me;

Srimad Bhagavad Gita :

1. { *  Lord Krishna  after  narrating ( teaching )  the  secrets  of  Brahmavidya  to  Arjuna,  Lord  offer  full  freedom,  to  Arjuna,  by  asking  him  to  perform,  as  he  wish,  after  discriminating  the  whole  thing  in   his,  best  way. }

2. { ** Lord  here  is  not  compelling  or  put  pressure  (on )  Arjuna,  to  follow  Lord's teachings }

5.  # You  are  the  fortunate  citizens  of  this  Holy  Land  of  Bharatham,  that  too  being  the  devotees  of  the  Lord,  and  followers  of  HINDUISM #

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bhashyam (Vyakyanam) :

Preparing to bestow His Grace, Lord Krishna extols the teachings of Srimad Bhagavad-Gita that have been imparted and concluded the instructions with a summary of what He has revealed thus far regarding renunciation, devotion, action and knowledge.

Now He gives the instruction to contemplate and reflect upon the three paths of karma yoga or facilitating communion with the Supreme Lord by action, bhakti yoga or facilitating communion with the Supreme Lord by exclusive loving devotion and jnana yoga or facilitating communion with the Supreme Lord by knowledge.

After examining the teachings thoroughly and considering carefully resolve accordingly the manner in which they are to be implemented into reality.

Since the word jnanam or knowledge is linked to guhyataram meaning most confidential it denotes wisdom the conclusion of knowledge which is indispensable to an aspirant and the most valuable for it is the final conclusion for the entire Srimad Bhagavad-Gita.

Lord Krishna instructs to examine, analyse and contemplate the teachings of the three paths known as karma yoga or facilitating communion with the Supreme Lord by actions.

Bhakti yoga or facilitating communion with the Supreme Lord by exclusive loving devotion and by jnana yoga or facilitating communion with the Supreme Lord by empirical knowledge.

After thoroughly reflecting on how each may be implemented into the reality of daily life one should harmonise them and act accordingly.

Concluding the essential teachings of the entire Srimad Bhagavad-Gita, the Supreme Lord Krishna declares that the most confidential and esoteric wisdom has been disclosed by Him in this treatise revealing how the jiva or embodied being attains eternal communion with the Supreme Lord which is the purpose and goal of human existence.

This divine discourse was disclosed out of compassion and benevolence to all creation by Lord Krishna who is omniscient and extremely gracious.

There is no knowledge more beneficial and valuable than Srimad Bhagavad-Gita.

There is no knowledge higher or superior to Srimad Bhagavad-Gita.

It should be well reflected upon and deeply contemplated and then one should act accordingly.

To be continued  .....
